Welcome to the United Steel, Paper and Forestry, Rubber, Manufacturing, Energy, Allied Industrial and Service Workers International Union Health, Safety & Environment Department’s Mailing List. This will serve for two main purposes:
1. The Union will communicate with our members, activists, and the general public on issues of concern. Many websites and services exist for general workplace health and safety and environmental information. This is not a replacement for any of those. However, we will focus on important information from the union when it becomes available.
2. The mailing list will be used to communicate relevant public actions in the health, safety or environmental activities. This will include pending legislation, rallies, or legal victories of interest.
Any posts will be archived on this site , but we encourage everyone to sign up and get their friends, family, union contacts and other activists to sign up.
In the end our challenges extend well beyond the thousands of workplaces where members of the USW work each day; not only in North America, but globally.
